Passageway Music Records is an independent gospel record label founded by Muziking Anil in the year 1997. Passageway Music Records is one of the first recording companies in India to bring Contemporary Christian music into gospel scene. PWM covers many styles and genres and is passionate about supporting young Christian artists, producing the highest quality music and using talent to spread the love of God through music. The motto of the company is to reach out to music lovers and show them the only true passage way to freedom and truth. Along the journey, Passageway Music has produced many path breaking albums with songs of praise and worship in Hindi, English, Telugu, Marathi and would love to permeate into all regional languages of India.
Muziking Anil is the man behind the scenes of Passageway Music, who's been blessed with a gift to inspire people with his music. He is no stranger to Christian music, having already worked in the industry for over 15 years. Muziking Anil is a singer-songwriter, music producer and composer, multi-instrumentalist, mixing engineer, mastering engineer, record producer, film maker and founder of Passageway Music Records. In his numerous years of experience, Muziking has managed to cross the lines into every genre, having worked with artists within and outside the country. Though most of his work can be heard on Gospel recordings, he continues to work fearlessly in other styles as well, ultimately glorifying the creator with his talent.
Our music production department is the one-stop shop for all things musical in the making of an album. First a concept for the album is chosen. Then songwriters and lyricists work on writing songs within the theme of the concept. If we are making a songwriter’s album, then songs are shortlisted that lie within a chosen theme and later on the songs are musically and lyrically developed. Then the genre of music to go with each song is finalized. Singers and musicians are auditioned from various different groups to suit the mood and style of the song. We have tried our best to keep the voices chosen very next-doorsy, fresh and made it our goal to launch debutant Christian artists along the way.
All our music composition, vocal recording and live instrument recording is done at Muziking Studios that houses state-of-the-art studio digital and analog equipment. The tracks are then mixed down and mastered in main stream studios in Mumbai bringing to life the latest sounds of the period of an album.
Our Video production team is responsible for all the indoor and outdoor shoots, lights, camera, wardrobe and every other detail that goes into making a music video. From filming to the post production, this department does a splendid job and pushes the bar higher with each new video in every single aspect – editing, compositing, cg, audio mixing etc.
The best way to portray the theme of an album is through its artwork. The first piece of appreciation we hear from our listeners even before they hear our tracks is about the album cover that goes all out to prepare the stage for our music. Artwork is a vital part of the album and talented designers work on the inlays and promotional posters brilliantly capturing the essence of the album to make the right first impression.
It is amazing how all the departments merge at the horizon of one single theme that we initially start out with.
A team of smart and dynamic designers, developers and writers work on putting together and maintaining our social media – the website, facebook, instagram, twitter and soundcloud profiles.
The most important department of the yester years before the boom of the online media is our CD Production house. This dept handles all of the inevitable production troubles to bring the envisioned product to life and has made us proud time and again. From artwork to the mastered tracks, from templates to formats, from CD replication to packaging, all CD manufacturing services are nailed by this dept.
Our events team manages all our small scale and large-scale events from album release functions to live concerts, from organizing youth retreats, children’s camps to performing for a cause or contributing to old age homes and other non-profit initiatives.
Our endeavor will always remain to spread the love of God through music, rejoicing forever more with an everlasting assurance of His kingdom.
